Diplomacy and Foreign Policy

The MIR program includes core courses, specialisation electives, and a capstone project. Core courses cover essential topics such as:

Students can choose electives based on their chosen specialisation, allowing them to tailor their education to their specific interests and career goals.

To be considered for the MIR program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor’s Degree: A bachelor’s degree in international relations, political science, economics, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Work Experience: Relevant professional experience in international relations or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Transcripts: Official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended.
  • Letters of Recommendation: Two letters of recommendation from academic or professional references.
  • Statement of Purpose: A personal statement outlining your career goals and how the MIR program aligns with them.
  • Resume/CV: A current resume or curriculum vitae.
  • Standardized Test Scores: GRE scores may be required for some applicants.
  • Language Proficiency: For non-native English speakers, TOEFL or IELTS scores are required.
